Job Requirements of Senior Field Engineer (ADA Rail/Transit):
SI Engineering, P.C.(SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design.
We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is looking for a Senior Field Engineer – Rail/Transit to support various MTA C&D transit construction projects in the Bronx, NY.
This position will be responsible for the construction management, including quality, schedule, and overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
•Construction management of multidisciplinary rail construction projects
•Inspecting, monitoring, and overseeing construction field work tasks
•Reviewing contractor schedules and payments
•Conducting constructability review
•Coordination with MTA and other stakeholders
Qualification & Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering
•Master's degree in Engineering (Preferred)
•Licensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager (preferred)
•6 years of experience in rail construction projects including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track work
•Experience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR, Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ)
•NYCT facility experience
•OSHA 30, PMG123 Training, NYCT Track Training, and 4 Hr Supported Scaffold training (Required)
Expected salary range is $120,000 - $140,000 annually.
Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
