Senior Field Engineer – Rail/Transit
SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is looking for multiple Senior Field Engineers – Rail/Transit to support various MTA C&D transit construction projects . This position will be responsible for the construction management, including quality, schedule, and overall client satisfaction.
Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similar
- Licensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience in rail construction projects including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track work
- Experience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ
- Excellent communication skills and work ethic
- OSHA 30, PMG123 Training, and NYCT Track Training
Expected salary range is $104,000 - $156,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
