- Identifying, strategizing, and winning new projects
- Leading pursuits of highway/bridge projects, serving as technical lead on key pursuits
- Participate in strategic positioning for major regional project opportunities

Project Executive – Highway/Bridge
SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is looking for a Project Executive – Highway/Bridge to oversee various infrastructure projects . This position will be responsible for the successful construction and overall project delivery for the client and overall client satisfaction.
Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or similar
- Licensed Professional Engineer in New York
- 20+ years of experience in complex highway and bridge construction
- Experience with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, PANYNJ, and NYCDDC, and other local clients
- Experience with design-build projects
- A demonstrated ability to cultivate new clients, identify opportunities, and win work
- Strong relationships within the industry including within agency, consultant, and contractor community
- Ability to take ownership and be accountable for projects and personnel
- Excellent communication skills and work ethic
- A demonstrated ability to independently lead and support business development and proposal activities
- A demonstrated ability to evaluate the technical requirements of segments of the individual projects, outline the tasks, manpower and equipment requirements, establish fees, scope and project budgets and outline a project schedule
- A demonstrated ability to administer all project general and technical data and reports to communicate verbally and in writing to all parties involved
Expected salary range is $187,200 - $301,600 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
