Job Requirements of Chief Inspector:
SI Engineering, P.C.(SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design.
We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is looking for a Chief Inspector to support roadway infrastructure projects on Long Island.
Responsibilities:
•Monitoring contractor’s work and ensuring it is as per the plans and specifications
•Preparing daily reports
•Assisting Office Engineer as needed
Qualification & Skills:
•Fifteen years of bridge/highway construction inspection experience
•Masters in Civil Engineering or NICET IV certification required
•Local experience preferred
•Experience in lighting and traffic signal systems preferred
•OSHA 30
Expected salary range is $124,800 - $143,000 annually.
Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
